UX (User Experience) design is about how something works — the research, information architecture, user flows, and logic that determine whether a product is useful and easy to use. UI (User Interface) design is about how something looks and feels — the visual design, colour, typography, and interaction patterns that make a product beautiful and enjoyable. Great digital experiences require both: UX ensures the right things are in the right place; UI ensures they look and feel excellent. At Shalom Infotech, we cover both disciplines end to end.

A focused UX audit and redesign of a specific product area takes 4–6 weeks. A full product design engagement — from research through production-ready screens — typically runs 8–16 weeks depending on scope and number of screens. A complete design system build alongside product design can extend to 20 weeks. We always deliver value incrementally: you'll see wireframes in week 2 and interactive prototypes by week 4 — not a reveal at the end of the project.

We do both — and we believe you cannot produce great UX without the research underpinning it. Our process always starts with a discovery phase: user interviews, analytics review, competitor audit, and stakeholder workshops. This research directly informs every design decision. If you have an existing product and existing user data, we can often compress the research phase and move faster — but we never skip it entirely. Evidence-led design consistently outperforms assumption-driven design.

You receive: 100%-owned Figma source files with all components, auto-layout frames, and variant states; an interactive prototype for every major user flow; a component library and design system documentation; a design-to-dev handoff spec with all measurements, colour values, and interaction notes; accessibility audit report; and usability testing recordings and synthesis. Everything is yours to take and work with any developer or agency in the world going forward.

Absolutely — we work within your brand system as the starting constraint. We can extend it into a full digital design system while respecting your existing brand identity. If your brand guidelines are outdated or incomplete for digital contexts (which is common for organisations whose guidelines predate mobile-first design), we flag this and can propose a contained brand refresh scoped to your digital touchpoints only. We always present options and let you decide the level of change you're comfortable with.
